The Students’ Guild at KINTU encompasses the Guild Government and the Games Union, with the Guild President democratically elected by students according to established guidelines, leading this representative body. The Guild President serves a one-year term, and annual elections take place during the first semester of the academic year. Specifically, the Office for Student Affairs is entrusted with various responsibilities, including formulating policies, guidelines, rules, and regulations related to student organizations, activities, programs, conduct, and discipline in collaboration with the Vice Chancellor’s Office.
The office also regulates student organizations, oversees student activities, directs the assessment of all student programs, and approves or disapproves all campus announcements or postings. Additionally, the Office for Student Affairs plays a crucial role in facilitating freshman orientation programs and implementing policies to ensure the alignment of student organizations with institutional rules. Supervising the University Student Council, the office ensures compliance with the law, issuances, and institutional regulations, preventing conflicts and promoting a conducive learning environment. The Students’ Guild, under the leadership of the Guild President and in collaboration with the Office for Student Affairs, actively contributes to fostering a vibrant and inclusive campus community.
